VIABILITY
How do I get to Bormio?
By Car
Bormio is easy to reach by car.
From Milan or Lake Como, take the SS 38 road from the north end of the lake.
From Bergamo or Brescia, the easiest route is via the Aprica Pass on the SS 39. This road is also open in winter. Or you could travel via the Gavia pass (closed in winter).
From the east, you have the option of the Stelvio pass (only open in summer) or the Gallo pass from Livigno (open all year round) via the Munt La Schlera tunnel in Switzerland. Another option from Switzerland is to take the Bernina pass.
By Train & Bus
The nearest railway station to Bormio is Tirano. From Tirano, the bus service run by Perego will take you to the centre of Bormio.
EVENT
What event is it?
FISI Presentation will consist of a presentation of all FISI athletes who will take part in the various World Cups of the 2022/2023 season. Afterwards the athletes will be available for photos and autographs during the Aperol Meet&Gree.
What is the FISI?
The FISI is the Italian Winter Sports Federation and includes all athletes: ski jumping, combined Nordic, cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, freestyle, snowboard, speed skiing, sledding, skeleton, bob, biatholn, grass skiing and ski roll.
Where will the event be?
The event will be held in Bormio, exactly at the arrival of the legendary track "Stelvio".
How to reach the event venue?
The exact location of the event, the arrival at the Stelvio slope, is located in the center of the village and there will be directions to guide you to the ticket office.
When will the event be?
The event will be Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 15:00
When does the event last?
The presentation event will last about two hours. Afterwards the athletes will be available for about an hour for the Aperol meet&greet.
What time can we get in?
The gates will open at 2 pm, one hour before the start of the event.
Can I eat at the venue?
Yes, there will be only a few stands at the event site, while in the city center you will find everything you want.
Will the FISI Presentation be visible online?
Yes, the FISI event will be live on the official FISI YouTube channel.
How many athletes are there?
More than 50 athletes will be present.
What athletes are there?
All athletes taking part in the World Cup 2022/2023 of the various disciplines will be present. Among them Sofia Goggia, Dominik Paris, Dorothea Wierer, Federica Brignone, Michela Moioli and many others.
What is the meet&greet?
After the presentation the champions will stop for autographs and take pictures.
TICKETING
How much are the tickets?
All 500 tickets will be free. 200 tickets can be purchased with special weekend packages offered by our event partners: QC Terme, Hotel San Vitale, Casa Sofia.
Where do I buy tickets?
Tickets will be available on www.bormio.eu www.fisi.org from 14:00 on 16 August 2022.
Tickets, if still available, can also be purchased on the day of the event at the ticket office at the entrance of the stand.
Are there any seats?
Yes, there will be seats.
Will there be spaces for disabled people?
Yes, there will be a space for disabled people. Contact us at our email for more information: [email protected] .
Are there restrictions for COVID?
No, there will be no restrictions for the COVID and it will not serve the Green Pass unless government changes.
WHAT TO DO IN BORMIO
After the event FISI will be present in the village of Bormio stands organized by our partners in which to consume typical dishes of Valtellina, accompanied by music and fun.
Where could I eat in Bormio?
During the night we offer several food and wine stands of our partners all along Bormio’s narrow roads. You can taste typical pizzoccheri or you can drink a glass of Sforzato di Valtellina (red wine) and much more.
Where can I stay in Bormio?
Through our event you can choose three types of affiliated hotels with diffent price range. If you choose one of them you will receive a special pass for the event. Here is the list of our partner hotels:

What could I do in Bormio?

SPECIAL PACKAGES
Are there any event&accomodation bundle?
Yes. If you book in our partner hotels you will receive a free ticket for Saturday’s event. In addition you can full enjoy Sunday in Bormio with special discounts.
You can choose between two packages, relax and sport.
1. Sport package: three hour excursion in Parco nazionale dello Stelvio by e-bike (Rossignol experience)
2. Relaxation package: thermal path with 30% discount (QC Terme experience)
Moreover if you book in our partner hotels the check out is at 5 p.m.
What is Rossignol Experience?
It is an e-bike paith designed just for FISI’s event., the presentation takes place in Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio.It starts from Bormio 2000 (you can take the cableway from city centre), first group leave at 10 a.m an Where does the Rossignol-Experience start?
The departure will be from Bormio 2000, a place accessible by cable car from the center of the village.
Can I participate in the Rossignol-Experience even if I’m an outsider?
No, you can participate in the Rossignol-Experience only if you are part of the audience of the FISI Presentation. Those who stay in partner hotels will have a discount on the experience.
How much does the Rossignol-Experience cost?
The Rossignol-experience will cost 50 euros per person.
For those staying in QC Terme, Hotel San Vitale or Casa Sofia the price will be 30 eurd second group leave at 11 a.m. The entire track takes 3 hours, all e-bikes all provided by Rossignol.
Can I participate in the QC Terme-Experience even if I am outside?
No, you can only participate in the QC Terme-Experience if you are part of the FISI Presentation audience. Those who stay in partner hotels will have a discount on the experience.
How much does the QC Terme-Experience cost?
The QC Terme-Experience will cost 50 euros per person.
For those staying in QC Terme, Hotel San Vitale or Casa Sofia the price will be 30 euros.
